Celebrating South Haven’s blueberry harvest since 1963
August 6–9, 2026 | One of the country’s longest-running fruit festivals, the National Blueberry Festival honors the growers, harvest and community behind South Haven’s reputation as the “Blueberry Capital of the World.” Four days of celebration bring Mainstage music to the Lake Michigan waterfront, family-friendly activities to Water Street and blueberry picking to local farms. Longstanding traditions such as the parade, pie-eating contest, craft fair and fish boil fill the weekend, along with plenty of blueberry treats and specials served throughout town.
Make the National Blueberry Festival the centerpiece of a summer getaway filled with waterfront music, community traditions and the flavors of Michigan’s blueberry harvest.
