South Beach is South Haven’s most iconic stretch of shoreline, set just south of the pier and lighthouse. Wide sands and open lake views create space to settle in or stay active, just a short walk from downtown. Amenities include a splash pad modeled after the Michigan Maritime Museum’s tall ship Friends Good Will, a playground, seasonal paddleboard rentals, the South Beach Cafe concession stand, beach wheelchair rentals, and a free life jacket borrow station.
