Kiwanis Club of South Haven
Overview
The Kiwanis Club of South Haven is a thriving organization of local men, women and youth dedicated to serving children, strengthening the South Haven community and improving quality of life around the world. Members are hands-on volunteers who assist with community events and programs such as the Fourth of July Parade, summer camps, community dinners, the South Haven Bike Rodeo, highway cleanups and the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Community Service.
The club also donates dictionaries to 10 elementary schools each year, provides high school scholarships, sponsors the South Haven High School Key Club and hosts an annual free ice-skating event. Its support reaches numerous local organizations, including the Boy Scouts, HOPE Parent Resource Center, We Care Community Resource Center, Blessings in a Backpack, the South Haven High School robotics club and Foundry Hall. Additional service efforts include donating coloring books to hospitals and supporting programs that benefit children and families throughout the area.
