Celebrating South Haven’s 2019 designation as a Pure Michigan Trail Town, the Challenge highlights the region’s trails, preserves and natural landscapes. Complete all 10 stops in a weekend, or return throughout the seasons for peak fall colors and the first blankets of snow.

A: Sign up above—it’s quick, free, and requires no payment. You’ll receive your digital passport by email and text, then simply check in at each location to earn points toward the Trail Town Challenge!
Q: I'm at a park and I can't get a signal to check in, how do I proceed?
A: Don't sweat it! Check-ins usually work best near roads and trailheads, if you can't check-in after a couple of attempts, just snap a selfie in front of designated Trail signage and we'll verify when you come to pick up your prize!
Q: How long do I have to complete the Challenge?
A: The Trail Town Challenge ends on May 16, 2027.
