Kal-Haven Outpost

The Kal-Haven Outpost is a beautiful campground and general store along the Kal-Haven Trail just 5 miles from downtown South Haven. We have lodging options for every style, from vacation homes to tent sites. Dogs are part of the family too, so all of our lodging options are pet friendly and we offer a ½ acre off-leash park. Our vacation homes come fully furnished inside and out, with grills, fire pits and picnic tables. These houses embody the idyllic laid-back country lifestyle without sacrificing the comforts of home like WiFi and A/C. Our beautiful cabins are clad in knotty pine and most of the furniture was handmade by us! These are equipped with AC/heat, refrigerator, pull-out couch, fire pit, grill, and 6 ft. picnic table. Family style cabins sleep 6-8 on 3 queen beds and a sleeper/sofa, and couple’s cabins can sleep 2-4 with one king and a sleeper/sofa. Glamping tents feature King size beds and twin fold-outs, fire pit, propane grill and picnic table. Our converted school bus or Skoolie is outfitted with fairy lights, couch, propane grill, fire pit, and picnic table. RV Sites are 70ft long pull-through. Each site includes 50/30-amp electric, water, and sewer. All sites offer your own picnic tables and 3’ fire rings. Our Primitive Sites offer a large space to set up camp and vary from partial shade at the edge of the tree line to deep into our 20 acres of woodland.
