Arvesta Sports Complex

Located just 4 miles from downtown South Haven, Lake Arvesta has amazing water attractions including two wibbit inflatable aqua parks and a full-size cable park - giving guests the opportunity to learn how to wakeboard, water ski, and kneeboard. Also features indoor and outdoor pickleball courts. Lake Arvesta Farms offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that can host private events for up to 300 people. Scenic views and serene surroundings paired with outdoor adventure make Lake Arvesta Farms a unique venue for weddings, social events, corporate outings or events, conferences, trade shows, or other large group events. 

Black River Park and Boat Launch

Enjoy a day along the river!  This park sports a really nice kayak launch, so you can easily get into your kayak and on the water without getting wet. It's also the perfect spot to jump onto the Bangor/South Haven Heritage Water Trail and travel up the river enjoying the natural sights. It's even handicapped accessible so everyone can have the chance to enjoy this serene park.

Cable Street Tot Lot

Park has playground equipment, benches, and picnic tables. Free parking.

Deerlick Creek Beach (South Haven Township Park)

Dog-friendly beach. A good place to avoid the crowds, walk the beach and launch your kayak via the small creek opening into Lake Michigan. Leashed dogs allowed on the beach and in the water.

Dyckman Park

Named for A.S. Dyckman who came from New York in 1838. He was a partner in building the first steam mill and the first hotel in South Haven, and was also Mayor in 1902. The Dyckman family gave the city the land for this park. Park has benches, picnic tables, and public restrooms. Farmer’s Market, Ice Rink, and free parking are located in the Huron Street Parking Lot (539 Huron Street) next to the park.

Elkenburg Park

Park has a picnic area, shelter, grills, restrooms, basketball courts, bleachers, and baseball diamond. Free parking.

Ellen Avery Park

Ellen Avery Park is located at the end of North Shore Drive. Enjoy the beautiful views and watch the boats go by. Benches. Free parking.

Friends Good Will Splash Pad

Our incredible new lakefront splash pad provides a wonderful alternative water play environment for kids and families! Modeled after the Michigan Maritime Museum's tall ship Friends Good Will, our splash pad will provide kids with great memories and experiences. Located just east of South Beach on the Black River channel.

Hartman Park

Park has picnic tables, grills, and lots of grass. Free parking.

Kid's Corner Playground

Wooden play structure designed and built by kids and adults of South Haven, includes, a maze, boat, slides, rope bridge, tire bridge, and more. Park is ADA accessible, has grills, picnic area, play equipment, restrooms, a shelter, and a sports field. Free parking. Stairs to public South Beach across the street. Perfect for a family day at the park. 

Optimist Tot Lot

Park has a basketball court, grills, picnic area, play equipment, restrooms, and a baseball diamond. Free parking.

Packard Park & Beach

Park has grills, picnic tables, a deck overlooking Lake Michigan, and a large shaded grassy area. $10 per trip parking fee (credit card or cash) or a free option to parallel park on North Shore Drive.

Riverfront Park

Park is ADA accessible, has grills, a picnic area, restrooms, a shelter, and is great for taking a stroll to the lighthouse. Riverfront Park hosts the summertime Riverfront Concert Series and various festivals. Free Parking.

SHARA Disc Golf Park

18-hole course. Open to the public year-round, dawn to dusk, and free to use.

South Haven Bark Park

Our goal is to provide "A Safe Place for People and their Dogs to Play” where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife. Purchase a membership and you get access to our fenced in, off-leash dog park all year. Memberships are $25 and are good for a whole year.
