Optimist Tot Lot

191 Bailey Avenue - South Haven
From I-196: Exit 20, turn west off of exit ramp onto Phoenix Road. After the first light, turn right onto 4th street, Bailey Avenue. Tot Lot is one block north on your right. Park has basketball court, grills, picnic area, play equipment, restrooms, and a baseball diamond. Free parking.

Packard Park & Beach

231 North Shore Drive - South Haven
From I-196: Exit 22, turn west off of exit ramp onto North Shore Drive. Cross Blue Star Highway and follow around curve. Located 6 blocks on right. Park has grills, picnic tables, deck overlooking Lake Michigan, and a large shaded grassy area. $10 per trip parking fee (credit card or cash).

Portman Nature Preserve

49th Avenue - Paw Paw
The Portman Nature Preserve is an amazing 188 acre mix of woods, meadows and wetlands with frontage on three lakes, a creek and hundreds of springs.  The park supports two federally endangered species, a long list of state-listed plants and animals, and every species of turtle found in Southern Michigan.

From I-196: Exit 20, turn west off of exit ramp onto Phoenix Road. After the 4th stoplight Phoenix becomes Water Street. Riverfront Park is on your right. Park is ADA accessible, has grills, picnic area, restrooms, a shelter, and is great for taking a stroll to the lighthouse. Free Parking.

From I-196: Exit 20, turn west off of exit ramp onto Phoenix Road. Turn right at the first light onto Blue Star Highway. Take the second left onto Wells. The Skate Park is on the right next to the South Haven District Courthouse. Parking for the South Haven Skate Park is shared with the Kal-Haven Trail.

Southside Skateboard Park

446 South Williams Street - Decatur
 A fenced in area with cemented surface and skateboard ramps are in place. A basketball court has been added to the facility.  Future plans will include a pavilion with restrooms.
