Paw Paw River Water Trail

51st Avenue and North Kalamazoo Street - Paw Paw
The Paw Paw River is 68 miles long. It flows through Van Buren and Berrien Counties and joins the St. Joseph River just above its mouth at Benton Harbor.  The Paw Paw River offers paddling through mostly beautiful wooded flood plains colored brightly during the fall with Paw Paw trees. The paddling along the river is mostly remote, very scenic in places and requires good paddling skills. 

 

Sailing South Haven

There are four (4) municipal marinas with 229 boating slips available for either seasonal or transient boaters. The marinas are known as Northside Marina, Southside Marina, Museum Marina, and Black River Park Marina. The municipal marinas are open from April 15 - October 15.

The Sun Setter

Feel Safe; the "Sun Setter" is an ex-United Stated Navy Utility Launch Boat. The Vessel is United States Coast Guard inspected and licensed to carry 40 passengers. Children of all ages welcome.  Alcohol is permitted only, canned beer and boxed wine preferred. Personal size coolers permitted. Duration of a cruise is approximately one hour, twenty-five minutes.  

Woodland Harbor Marina
