Artful Discoveries - Ages 3-5
Jul 11 – Aug 15, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Tuesdays 10 to 11 AM
Overview
Young children (ages 3-5) will be given the opportunity to learn about different art concepts and materials each day.
Inspired by a short book or song, fun and developmentally appropriate art experiences will focus on learning from the process of playing with the materials. We ask that children be able to work without parental help.
This is a drop-off class. Young students should feel comfortable being left with the teacher.
Members $15 per-session
Non-members $20 per-session
Member all sessions $75
Non-members all sessions $105
Need-based scholarships are available, please inquire.

Please note that age groupings for classes are used as guidelines for planning developmentally appropriate curriculum but we believe that parents/guardians know their children’s abilities, interests, and comfort levels best. We invite you to enroll your young person in the class(es) that seem best for them.
South Haven Center for the Arts summer classes for young artists are designed to encourage creativity and self-expression in a safe and supportive environment. Certified art teacher Sarah Rydecki will guide students through the processes and playful possibilities of art making. New to this year’s programming are opportunities for working with ceramic clay. Ceramic clay is earthenware that requires firing in a kiln. We are fortunate and grateful to be partnering with South Haven Public Schools for the use of their art department kilns.
For each course, pick and choose which weeks to attend or sign up for all. Fill out registration forms on link for each class or in person at the center. We will invoice you for classes.
