“Airline Highway,” a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winning dark comedy by Lisa D’Amour, is a soulful production that looks into the lives of the “real” New Orleans and its residents. Set in a parking lot of the Hummingbird Hotel off the city’s titular highway, the hotel’s residents gather to celebrate the life of Miss Ruby, a burlesque queen who has been a mother figure to them all. As the Mardi Gras-esque celebration continues into the night, the stories of the residents, their pain and disappointments unfold.

In-person discussion with Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Lisa D’Amour and Steppenwolf Ensemble actress Caroline Neff immediately following Sunday’s November 19th matinee performance.

$15 adults/$0 seniors or students, LMC students free with ID

PARENTAL ADVISORY: The play contains strong language and adult themes.

Airline Highway is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. New York.
